Grant Details

  • Grant Amount: Organizations may request up to $1,500 in funding to support performances at LPAC.
  • Eligibility: Open to community-based organizations that promote or develop the performing arts in Antelope Valley and whose activities directly benefit Antelope Valley residents.
  • Funding Period: This grant cycle supports programs during the LPAC performance seasons.


Application Process

To apply for this grant, organizations must submit a complete application package, which includes:

  1. A formal application with detailed information about the program's goals, budget, and description.
  2. Certification of qualified non-profit status.
  3. Supporting materials to strengthen the application, such as performance history or letters of community support.


Applications must be submitted electronically, and all required documents must be included.


Important Dates

  • Application Available: Grant applications are typically released in early fall.
  • Application Deadline: Completed applications must be submitted by early November.
  • Notification of Award Recipients: Applicants will be notified of the outcome by early December.
  • Final Report: By early June, awardees must submit an affidavit certifying how funds were expended.


Grant Award Process

The LPAC Foundation Grant Committee will carefully review all applications based on technical excellence, creativity, community impact, and the overall quality of the proposed performance. Priority will be given to organizations based in the Antelope Valley serving local residents with LPAC performances. While funding requests may be partially supported, the Foundation reserves the right to determine the specific portions of the project to fund.
